The Griffon Group, LLC Announces Availability of the Griffon Group Issue Tracking System

August 21, 1998, Wilmington, MA – The Griffon Group, LLC (Griffon) today announced the availability of Tracker Central, Griffon’s state-of-the-art system for managing test cases and issues associated with the development and implementation of projects.

Tracker Central provides an organized and flexible framework for testing software applications as well as providing a component to gather any resulting 'bugs' that may be flushed out during the completion of the test cases. Other uses of the system include the tracking of new feature requests, the reporting of data setup issues for system conversions, and Year 2000 readiness testing, just to name a few.

"Tracker Central’s functionality allows clients to take control of the myriad of issues that arise with developing, testing and implementing projects," said Richard Lalor, Griffon’s business manager. "The system is designed to allow multiple business groups to use the same installation of the application. This results in lower support costs."

Tracker Central runs on most PC desktop operating systems such as Windows 95, 98 and NT. The Sybase database can run on any of the Sybase supported platforms including UNIX or Windows NT.
