The Griffon Group Announces Formation of Software Development and Consulting Company

Boston, MA, December 10, 1997 - The Griffon Group, L.L.C. announces its formation to service the investment management industry.

The Griffon Group is developing a suite of analytical tools that will allow customer's front and back office operations to better manage and control market data vendor feeds. "The tools will integrate with a client's trading, decision support, compliance, portfolio/mutual fund accounting and data warehouse systems. The customers will have the ability to use these tools with their market data vendors of choice," said Richard Lalor, president and co-founder of The Griffon Group.  "Our software will automate many of our clients' manual tasks and will assist them in their analysis of their data."

The Griffon Group also offers clients consulting services ranging from individual contributor roles to complete project management. "We offer technical as well as business expertise, and we can work as a part of the client's team or work independently and deliver a completed product to the client," said Technology Manager and co-founder Michael Rauck.
